The all new upcoming Audi R8 GT comes with a reduced weight of 220 pounds.This reduction is made possible with the introduction of new carbon-fiber body panels which previously were made of aluminium and new polycarbonate rear windows which replaces glass.
The new 2011 model Audi R8 GT comes equipped with a 5.2-liter 10-cylinder engine capable of producing a maximum horse power of 560hp.The engine of Audi R8 GT is mated to standard R-Tronic semi-automatic transmission.The new four wheel drive Audi R8 GT takes just 3.6 seconds to reach the 0-100 kph mark.
